Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler are three scientists at the university of Columbia in New York city. If her approval runs off, the guys will dismiss, and they stamp into business as a mind destruction society called in "Ghostbusters". Their first customer is an orchestra cello player Dana Barrett who had got a fright from her flat on the 22nd floor of a high rise dwelling house on the main park to the west. It seems that the neighbour is concerned by Dana, Louis Tully, also by the foreign events in the dwelling house. Armed with proton guns the Ghostbusters become wildly popular, and they are connected by Winston Zeddmore who looks for a job with the good payment. Official environmental alliance authority (EPA) agent Walter Peck thinks the Ghostbusters, is a dizziness, and he has the Ghostbusters closed in the prison. Amount is made believe the Ghostbusters if New York city is put under the siege by an old sumerischen God called Gozer of the Gozerian who is escorted by the dwelling house that Dana and Louis live in, and the mayor no choice leaves as the Ghostbusters from the prison to face Gozer.

Menge wird gezwungen, den Ghostbusters zu glauben, wenn New York City unter der Belagerung von einem alten sumerischen Gott genannt Gozer der Gozerian gestellt wird, wer durch das Apartmenthaus geleitet wird, dass Dana und Louis in leben, und der Bürgermeister keine Wahl hat als den Ghostbusters aus dem Gefängnis zu lassen, um Gozer gegenüberzustehen.
