For professor Edward Johnston the project is the climax of a dream for life. Helped by assistant's professor Andre Marek, his son Chris and students Kate, Strictly and François, Johnston main steps in digging out has made not only castle of La Roque but also a cloister and structures of the surroundings village of Castlegard. But things are about to break. Distrustfully against the benefactor of the dig international technology union (ITC) and the man who leads it, Robert Doniger professor Johnston goes to the headquarters ITC in New Mexico to get some answers, and while he is away, his students discover a space which has been sealed for more than 600 years. Marek and Kate rise in the not stable room, and shortly before a close misfortune-blest collapse down, they make two frightening discoveries — a bifocal lens which could not have been invented before the space was sealed, and even, a handwritten excuse for the help passé on the 2nd of April, 1357 more amusing. from professor Johnston!
